Ein Stadtbezirk ist Teil der Kommunalen Gebietsgliederung. Dieses hierarchische System gliedert das Kölner Stadtgebiet auf verschiedenen Ebenen in eine Stadtstruktur und Blockstruktur. Weitere Bestandteile sind eine Straßenstruktur und Adressen. Die gesamte Kommunale Gebietsgliederung wird in dieser Veröffentlichung erläutert.
Definition: Die Gliederung des Stadtgebietes in die 9 Stadtbezirke ergibt sich aus der Hauptsatzung der Stadt in der Fassung vom 17.10.1996. Die Stadtbezirke stellen die oberste räumliche Verwaltungseinheit der Stadt dar.
Erläuterung der Attribute ist dem Shapefile als CSV beigefügt.
