Forstbetriebsbezirke NRW

Dieser Layer bildet die Grenzen der Forstbetriebsbezirke (FBB) innerhalb des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen ab. Forstbetriebsbezirke sind die Reviere der Regionalforstämter von Wald und Holz NRW. Einige FBB bewirtschaften den landeseigenen Staatswald, andere betreuen vor allem private und kommunale Waldbesitzerinnen und -besitzer. Forstbetriebsbezirke werden durch eine Försterin oder einen Förster geleitet und haben folgende, allgemeine Aufgaben: Wirtschaftlich und ökologisch nachhaltige Waldbewirtschaftung Planung, Durchführung und Überwachung von Holzernte-, Waldpflege- und Bauarbeiten im Wald wie z.B. Bau und Unterhaltung von Waldwegen Forstpolizeiliche Aufsicht über das jeweilige Gebiet Prüfung, Begleitung und Abnahme förderfähiger Maßnahmen im Wald Wahrnehmung betriebswirtschaftlicher, organisatorischer und administrativer Aufgaben des FBB Kontakt zu Behörden, privaten Waldbesitzerinnen und -besitzern, politischen Instanzen, Umweltorganisationen und Verbänden etc. Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und waldpädagogische Angebote
