Kataster der städtischen Bäume in Dortmund.

Das Baumkataster der Stadt Dortmund basiert auf vorhandenen Daten, Luftbildern und weiteren Informationen. Die Fachdaten wie Pflanzjahr oder der Stammdurchmesser wurden teilweise aus Altdaten übernommen. Das Kataster wird regelmäßig aktualisiert und Fehler werden nach und nach korrigiert. Da die wichtigste Aufgabe die Verkehrssicherheit ist, ist die Pflege des Katasters ein fortlaufender Prozess.
