Wahlkreise - Landtagswahl 2024

Für eine Wahl wird das Staatsgebiet in genau festgelegte Wahlkreise aufgeteilt. Dabei wird darauf geachtet, dass in jedem Wahlkreis ungefähr gleich viele Menschen wohnen. Ein ländlicher Wahlkreis kann also viel größer sein als einer, in dem eine große Stadt liegt. Die Wähler und Wählerinnen, die innerhalb eines Wahlkreises wohnen, wählen einen oder mehrere Kandidaten, die sich in diesem Wahlkreis zur Wahl stellen.
